PASTOR DAVE'S THOUGHTS
Greetings in the name of Jesus
Looks like we are well into the Fall. Please pray for all the people who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. Please lift them up in prayer every day that their needs can be met. If you are able, please consider donating to one of the many organizations that are helping the survivors out. Thanks for your help.
Our Sunday morning worship services begin at 10:00 a.m. Our ladies' and men's Bible Studies are going well. Both groups meet every Monday at 1:00 p.m. Check our Calendar and Events page for more information regarding our Bible Studies and other activities and programs.
I would encourage all of you to maintain a daily quiet time where you get alone with God for prayer, praise, and Bible study. A relationship with God should take place on a daily basis and life surely becomes more manageable when we allow the Lord to be with us each and every day. Consider using, "The Upper Room" or "Our Daily Bread." Each devotional has a well-thought-out scripture reading as well as a story to fit the passage. I love my own personal quiet time.
Office hours are Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Also if you would like a home visit, please call the office at 386-684-6511 to schedule a convenient time for you. I look forward to seeing you as often as you can attend. Thanks so much.
Love in Christ. Pastor Dave and Carol

MORE INFORMATION ON OUR WORSHIP SERVICE TAB
If you attend our service in person and wish to continue to wear masks, that is fine. We encourage everyone to continue to practice handwashing and other actions we have all become accustomed to. Our church will follow all of the cleaning practices that will keep our family safe.
We will continue to have Pastor Dave's messages on our website on the Worship Services tab. We hope those who have viewed the messages on the website have been blessed. Some of you prefer to stay away from crowds, others are homebound. We want to meet the needs of those, for whatever reason, who prefer to watch the message on-line. Some attend in person and also want to watch again on-line, which is wonderful. We are grateful for the technology that provides this opportunity.
We thank those who have sent us your kind words and encouragement.
From Chris Folmsbee's The Wesley Prayer Challenge "The church does not have a mission; the mission has a Church."
We continue to respect and desire to follow John Wesley's three guiding principles ) Do No Harm, 2) Do Good, and 3) Attending upon all the ordinances of God simply put “Stay in Love with God."
Wesley's Covenant Prayer: I am no longer my own, but thine. Put me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt. Put me to doing, put me to suffering. Let me be employed by thee or laid aside for thee, exalted for thee or brought low for thee.
Let me be full, let me be empty. Let me have all things, let me have nothing. I freely and heartily yield all things to thy pleasure and disposal. And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, thou art mine, and I am thine. So be it. And the covenant which I have made on earth, let it be ratified in heaven. Amen.
WELCOMING YOU HOME
