PASTOR DAVE'S THOUGHTS
Greetings in the name of Jesus
As a church we praise God for the excellent Thanksgiving celebrations we enjoyed. It was so good to be reunited with family, friends, and those we love. James says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift comes down from the Father of Lights." It was so good to be with family and have a great meal!
We are in the season of Advent. We look forward to celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. God in pure grace sent His Son into the world as a newborn baby to reach mankind. The free gift of salvation is provided to all those who personally trust, believing in Jesus Christ. What a blessing to celebrate His arrival.
I encourage you to faithfully attend our services to understand the full meaning and gravity of the greatest event in history! Hopefully, our services will be a blessing to those who attend personally and those who watch online. I encourage all online watchers to try and attend some live services. Sometimes you can miss out when you are not physically present. I know some of you are limited due to health concerns and God fully understands that. Just do the best you can.
I want to wish each of you a strong, "Merry Christmas." I have heard it said, "Wise men still seek Him." Keep your eyes on the Lord during this holiday season and watch what His mighty hand can do.
Love in Christ. Pastor Dave and Carol

MORE INFORMATION ON OUR WORSHIP SERVICE TAB
If you attend our service in person and wish to continue to wear masks, that is fine. We encourage everyone to continue to practice handwashing and other actions we have all become accustomed to. Our church will follow all of the cleaning practices that will keep our family safe.
We will continue to have Pastor Dave's messages on our website on the Worship Services tab. We hope those who have viewed the messages on the website have been blessed. Some of you prefer to stay away from crowds, others are homebound. We want to meet the needs of those, for whatever reason, who prefer to watch the message on-line. Some attend in person and also want to watch again on-line, which is wonderful. We are grateful for the technology that provides this opportunity.
We thank those who have sent us your kind words and encouragement.
From Chris Folmsbee's The Wesley Prayer Challenge "The church does not have a mission; the mission has a Church."
We continue to respect and desire to follow John Wesley's three guiding principles ) Do No Harm, 2) Do Good, and 3) Attending upon all the ordinances of God simply put “Stay in Love with God."
Wesley's Covenant Prayer: I am no longer my own, but thine. Put me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt. Put me to doing, put me to suffering. Let me be employed by thee or laid aside for thee, exalted for thee or brought low for thee.
Let me be full, let me be empty. Let me have all things, let me have nothing. I freely and heartily yield all things to thy pleasure and disposal. And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, thou art mine, and I am thine. So be it. And the covenant which I have made on earth, let it be ratified in heaven. Amen.
WELCOMING YOU HOME
