PASTOR DAVE'S MIDWEEK THOUGHTS

We are starting a new series on the Book of Philippians this coming Sunday.  A word that is repeated 16 times in the Book is "JOY".  The Apostle Paul was able to find joy even though he was sitting in a Roman prison cell.  He had learned the secret that true joy and peace are an inside job and are not dependent on circumstances he found himself in.  The closer we walk with the Lord, the more peace and joy we can experience.  Job said, "I esteem the Word of God more than my necessary food."  We need to have the same perspective as Job.  Just like we need to eat food every day physically, we need to eat spiritually also every day as we feast on the Word of God.  May the Lord bless you during the month of June as you practice this spiritual discipline.  Pastor Dave

MORE INFORMATION ON OUR WORSHIP SERVICE TAB

Praise God!  The CDC has updated their requirements.  Our church will continue to follow the CDC guidelines.  The CDC has now stated that masks are optional for those who have been fully vaccinated.  Each individual will make their decision.  If you wish to continue to wear masks, that is fine, or if you do not feel it is necessary or you, that is fine also.  We encourage everyone to continue to practice handwashing and other actions we have all become accustomed to.  Our church will follow all of the cleaning practices that will keep our family safe.

We will continue to have Pastor Dave's messages on our website on the Worship Services tab.  We hope those who have viewed the messages on the website have been blessed.  Some of you prefer to stay away from crowds, others are homebound.  We want to meet the needs of those, for whatever reason, who prefer to watch the message on-line.  Some attend in person and also want to watch again on-line, which is wonderful.  We are grateful for the technology that provides this opportunity.

We thank those who have sent us your kind words and encouragement.

We continue to respect and desire to follow John Wesley's three guiding principles ) Do No Harm, 2) Do Good, and 3) Attending upon all the ordinances of God simply put “Stay in Love with God."

WELCOMING YOU HOME

2 Chronicles 20:12 "For we have not power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you."

This is a difficult time for all of us.  Between COVID-19 and all the things happening in our world, many are very confused, scared, and feeling very lonely.  For our current members and those that attend regularly, getting back together is a comfort and blessing. If at this point you are not comfortable attending, we hope Pastor Dave's message on our website will be an encouragement. For those who are just learning about us, we hope you find helpful information on this website. Take a little time to get to know us. Call us if you have questions or if you need someone to pray with.  Remember Deuteronomy 31:6 tells us "God will never leave you nor forsake you."  He is here, you are not alone.
