PASTOR DAVE'S MIDWEEK THOUGHTS
This coming Sunday will be August 1, 2021. A brand new month begins! The Lord has been so faithful to our church here in Interlachen. There is a good spirit among the people and we have been having good numbers in attendance.
We are currently collecting school supplies to help out Interlachen elementary school. We are also conducting a coat drive for the little kids. If you would like to purchase a coat or two you can bring them by the church on Sunday, or to the church office 9-1:00 PM Monday through Thursday. We are also collecting canned food and other food items to help out the Interlachen Soup Kitchen. Please feel free to donate when you can.
Let us keep our schools lifted up in prayer as the new school year begins. Pray especially for teachers and administrators. Be blessed as we keep our eyes on the prize. Pastor Dave

Praise God! The CDC has updated their requirements. Our church will continue to follow the CDC guidelines. The CDC has now stated that masks are optional for those who have been fully vaccinated. Each individual will make their decision. If you wish to continue to wear masks, that is fine, or if you do not feel it is necessary or you, that is fine also. We encourage everyone to continue to practice handwashing and other actions we have all become accustomed to. Our church will follow all of the cleaning practices that will keep our family safe.
We will continue to have Pastor Dave's messages on our website on the Worship Services tab. We hope those who have viewed the messages on the website have been blessed. Some of you prefer to stay away from crowds, others are homebound. We want to meet the needs of those, for whatever reason, who prefer to watch the message on-line. Some attend in person and also want to watch again on-line, which is wonderful. We are grateful for the technology that provides this opportunity.
We thank those who have sent us your kind words and encouragement.
We continue to respect and desire to follow John Wesley's three guiding principles ) Do No Harm, 2) Do Good, and 3) Attending upon all the ordinances of God simply put “Stay in Love with God."
WELCOMING YOU HOME
2 Chronicles 20:12 "For we have not power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you."
This is a difficult time for all of us. Between COVID-19 and all the things happening in our world, many are very confused, scared, and feeling very lonely. For our current members and those that attend regularly, getting back together is a comfort and blessing. If at this point you are not comfortable attending, we hope Pastor Dave's message on our website will be an encouragement. For those who are just learning about us, we hope you find helpful information on this website. Take a little time to get to know us. Call us if you have questions or if you need someone to pray with. Remember Deuteronomy 31:6 tells us "God will never leave you nor forsake you." He is here, you are not alone.

We hope you'll find one that interests you.
